That is what this section is for, to allow you to ask questions and get answers. I am not a coding genius but I can usually figure it out and if I can’t hopefully some other reader will be able to!

Hot Deals
Every day we find great deals and are eager to share them with others. Whenever you find one, post it here so that everyone else can see it and link to your deal!

Link Trading
One of the best ways to build your blog is to start trading links with other blogs. Start a new topic here and start trading links with other bloggers!

Linky Posting
Adding your blog to a linky posting is a great way to get new readers and to build your inventory of back links. Back links help improve your Google rankings and will improve your placement in Google searches. If you are doing a Linky Posting or spot one, post it here!

Affiliate Questions, Concerns, and Advertising
If you have a question or concern about Affiliate/Pay Per Lead programs (including billing questions), post them here. Normally other bloggers have already been through what you are dealing with and can help out. This is also a great place to post your advertising questions!

If you haven’t already please add the button to your site. You can get it HERE. Anywhere on your site is fine, although a nice pretty post about the site would be greatly appreciated. The big problem is I don’t know all the blogs, so I have no way of finding them unless they find me.

Also if you know any other bloggers please spend two seconds and email them about it. I hope you are starting to see what a great resource this will be for all bloggers and I hope you will start to participate

What that also means is a lot of users have not entered their blogs into the database. You need to do this by clicking on “Add Your Blog” at the top. Also if you haven ‘t add the Blog Boat button to your site, please do. The only way this will grow is if we get the word out about it!

First you need to be registered for the site. Click on “Register” on the sidebar. Once approved you will be able to add your blog.

The Blog Finders is a searchable database that can be found under the “Search For Blogs” link at the top. Users can search by one option or all options so make sure you fill out your information completely!

To add your blog, click on “Add Your Blog” at the top. Enter in all the information at the top including name, blog name, website, city, and state.

Next select your blog type. You can select one or all.

Next select all the stores you cover, select all that are applicable. You can leave this blank if you don’t do any store matchups.

Next select all the features of your blog. Most are straightforward. Linkys refer to Mr.Linkys or another linking program that allows others to leave links on your site.

Next enter a description. This will show up on the search results screen so make sure to put a few lines of what your blog is about in this field.

Last enter your image. A 125×125 image is preferred and will show up the best on the search results.

The search results can be seen after doing a search. As you will notice the blog image, blog name, description, and website address are included. These fields should always be filled out!

If you need to make changes after you have entered your blog you can click on “My Blogs” at the top to see the blogs you have entered. Yes if you have more than one you can enter more than one. Click on the “edit” link next to the blog you need to change and make the changes. Don’t forget to click “Submit”!

Once you have entered your blog, make sure you to grab the Blog Boat button HERE and add it somewhere on your site!

If I was able to find a button on the site I added it. In some cases I couldn’t find one so I made a quick one…of course you can change these if you want. Some sites it wasn’t easy to make an image so I didn’t make one. I am trying to make the search feature as clean and pretty as possible so I hope no one minds. Remember the images are 125×125 so try to use those if possible!

I will be happy to help you create a button if you need one. I am not a designer but I do have a cool little program that can create one in just a few minutes. Is the button I make going you to be professional? Probably not – remember I am not a designer. Will it work until you can get your own? Yes!

I have been working on this for months and thought I had all the issues resolved. When I started adding new users into a new system, I ran into a few issues. Some were related to logins and a few others things. We also quickly realized that we had forgotten one main feature….the ability to EDIT the blogs added. This turned into quite a task to create. That feature has now been added so you can change your blogs at any time.

The Game Plan
It has always been my intention to fill the database before the initial launch of the site. I have set the launch date to the public as 2/12. I will be contacting bloggers that have signed up but not entered their blog over the next few days to persuade them to add it, nicely of course. I will also be contacting new bloggers. I would love to see 100 blogs in here by Friday, currently we have about 30. If you know of any other bloggers please contact them and ask them to add theirs and join up.

I am sure you can see this site is going to be an amazing resource for all once it is up and running. I have been working really hard on making the site function and have not included a lot of content yet. This will change. I have a ton of ideas and plans for articles. I have been working on getting some of the basic user stuff included (when I have time) but I will be getting to the more advanced stuff soon. I am a techie at heart so I do plan to include lots of resources for building blogs and other applications to help you in your blogging efforts. Just bare with me…its just little ol me doing all of this…lol.
