Google offers a great affiliate program with such companies as Target, Kohl’s, Sears, Barnes & Noble, and many more. They also offer the ability to “Build Your Own Link” for many companies which is great because you can link to any product. Another great feature is that if you have a Google Adsense account you can link these two together and get one payment from both!

I highly suggest downloading the site stripe. The site stripe lets you easily build a link off any product on the site as well as see reports and earnings. There is also a link to post deals you find on Twitter.

They also offer the ability to add widgets to your side bar where you can showcase any product you like. I choose the Gold Box and Lightning Deals because they are usually big sellers.

Simply find the item, and copy the URL making sure it is a direct link to the product. If you want a text link, just enter the text you would like. If you want a image link, just right click on the image and grab the image link. Enter that and it will create it for you!

LinkShare is another great affiliate company.   Some of the companies that use LinkShare to represent them are…Crocs, Mega Brands, Vera Bradley, CompUSA, Origins, Fye, Hanes, Babies R Us, Toys R Us, The Body Shop, Macy’s, Lane Bryant, Walmart, Hickory Farms, Omaha Steaks, and many more.

They offer a wonderful “Easy Links” options for most companies where you can build the link you want.   They also offer super easy reporting.  On the main page you will see your stats.  You can change it by clicking “Edit” at the top and changing it to daily, monthly, or any other value.  Make sure to scroll down to see a breakdown by store.

LinkShare is a straight up affiliate network which means you need to have a contract with EACH company to be able to promote their products. You can mass apply by selecting the check box at the very top and selecting the entire row and then clicking “apply”. Once again make sure you use your spam email for this one as you will receive a lot of email!

Some of their programs include: Photoworks, Crocs, Vera Bradley, Toys R Us, Babies R Us, Boca Java, Lane Bryant, Macy’s, Walmart, Office Depot, Hickory Farms, Omaha Steaks, and Avon.

Commission Junction is one of the best with the most companies available.  While they offer lots of opportunities they lack one main feature, customer service.  You can NEVER get hold of anyone and their contact system has been down over a year.  While they lack customer service they do pay and pay on time.  Also they seem (in my opinion) very fair in paying out and usually resolve issues quick.  You are better off contacting the account rep of the company you are having the issue with rather than CJ.

There are literally thousands of companies that you can get affiliate contracts with.   Some of the best ones are Buy.com, Best Buy.com, 6pm.com, Snapfish.com, Seehere.com, Restaurant.com, Old Navy.com (and the entire Gap group), Borders.com, Upromise, and ELF Cosmetics.com.

***TIP
You can mass apply to a lot of companies at once by selecting the box above the list of companies in search mode.  Check that box and click APPLY.  I highly recommend using a Gmail for them as you will receive a TON of emails if you get lots of contracts.

GET LINKS
To find links click the “Get Links” tab at the top, search the company you want and select the banner.  Most companies offer the “Build a Link” option where you can use the URL from the site to create a link.  To get to the “Build a Link” option click on the company name in search mode and look to the left.

REPORTS & PAYMENT
To see how your promotions are doing, click on the REPORTS link at the top, normally this will pull up transaction reports.  Click on “By Advertiser” or “By Event Date” to see the break down.  They close on the 10th of the month so all items in the Closed column should be paid.  Checks are normally cut by the 15th.  They also offer direct deposit.
